The challenge was to convert a XIX century traditional gothic church to accommodate the Burlington School of English. The school is located in Balham, one of London’s most attractive residential areas, famous for its cafes, parks and gardens. Concrete and steel bleed through into the interior, where they makes a stark contrast with the original style of the gothic church.
